Novak Djokovic is through to the Quarter-Finals at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia Rome after seeing off Filip Krajinovic in straight sets.

As a result, it makes a remarkable stat for the World Number One who has played 14 times in Rome and has made 14 Quarter-Finals with his latest coming against his compatriot 7-6, 6-3.
In the opening exchanges, Krajinovic proved to be a match for Djokovic as he made it 4-4 saving a break point in the process to hold. The latter was not at his best but showing that despite that, he could still produce even though Krajinovic was superb.
He went on to save two set points and held on for 5-5 as the set went past the hour mark. A set befitting of a tiebreak and it could have been Krajinovic who claimed it which would have given the tie a different complexion.
Djokovic came from 1-4 down and took the set 7-6 in one that lasted nearly 90 minutes. In the second set, he raced into a 3-1 lead with a break of serve and didn't lose it throughout the set with form being found towards the end to claim it.
Next up could be the young Italian, Lorenzo Musetti who takes on Dominik Koepfer later with a tie which could capture the tennis world coming up potentially.
