Headlining the field are Karolina Pliskova, Sofia Kenin and Elina Svitolina. For the former, she is currently in the defence of her WTA Rome title and is through to the Quarter-Finals.
While for Svitolina, she will take on Svetlana Kuznetsova on Friday evening. Kenin on the other hand lost out to Victoria Azarenka 6-0, 6-0 on Thursday night so will come to Strasbourg aiming to gain some momentum after a poor display.
Other players involved include Aryna Sabalenka who will use this as her warm-up after deciding against playing in Rome as well as Elena Rybakina, Marketa Vondrousova and Amanda Anisimova in a stacked field.
