Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the ATP Cup as per Jelena Medic of Blic which furthers the mystery around his Australian Open participation.
Djokovic has not revealed his vaccination status and while he has entered into the provisional entry list for the Australian Open, many thought his appearance at the ATP Cup confirmed that he would play in Australia.
But that is now up in the air after this latest announcement with only a medical exemption likely to qualify as a way out of having the vaccination to play.
"It is 99 percent sure that Novak won't go to the ATP Cup. He is training here (in Belgrade) but he has decided to give that tournament a miss," a member of his team reportedly said.
