Djokovic's return to tennis confirmed for Davis Cup Finals: "We are eager to get that trophy"

Novak Djokovic's return to tennis could come at the 2021 Davis Cup Finals if his compatriot Filip Krajinovic is anything to go by.

Djokovic lost at the US Open before withdrawing from Indian Wells and while he remained open to competing in tournaments for the rest of the season, it has all been up in the air.

But Krajinovic revealed that he has signed up with the expressed goal of bringing back glory to Serbia.

"I would like to use the next three tournaments to raise my game before the Davis Cup”, Krajinović told Blic.

"We are going there with all the best players, so our goal is to lift the trophy, just like we did in 2010.

"Novak is with us, so we are surely not going there to lose. We made an agreement to play, all of us, we are eager to get that trophy."
