Draw 2022 Swiss Open Gstaad including Ruud, Berrettini and Thiem

The 2022 edition of the Swiss Open in Gstaad will be the 54th edition of the event running from July 18th till July 24th with Casper Ruud, Matteo Berrettini and Dominic Thiem.

This tennis event is a fairly popular event in the Swiss alps that offers some spectacular sightseeing for those that commit to playing. It's an ATP 250 event which will be held for the 54th time this year. Last year's champion was Casper Ruud and he'll return this year to try and defend his trophy. Challengers include Matteo Berrettini and Dominic Thiem.

Casper Ruud as the top see has a 1st round BYE but he might face either Etcheverry or Lehecka in round two. Joao Sousa could await him in the quarterfinal. Matteo Berrettini is the 2nd seed and he also has a BYE. The 2nd round will either be Richard Gasquet or Roberto Carballes Baena.

Some interesting matchups include Dominic Thiem against Hugo Gaston as well as Benoit Paire against a qualifier. This will be Paire's first event after announcing a battle with depression.
