The second edition of the ATP Cup occurs between January 1-5 at Melbourne Park, with 12 countries fighting for the prestigious title and notable ATP points.
Serbia won the inaugural title in 2020, and they lead the action at the second ATP Cup event, with world no. 1 Novak Djokovic defending the national colors. Novak will face Alexander Zverev and Denis Shapovalov, as Serbia plays against Germany and Canada en route to the semis.
In group B, the last year's finalists Spain meet Greece and Australia, with entertaining matches between Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alex de Minaur. Nadal and de Minaur played a marathon match at the last year's ATP Cup, and tennis fans want to see more of those in ten days.
Austria, Italy and France will compete in balanced Group C, with only one spot reserved in the sem-final for this all-European clash. The US Open champion Dominic Thiem will try to raise his level in comparison with the previous year and send his country into the semis against Matteo Berrettini and Gael Monfils.
Russia, Argentina and Japan seek the last semi-final spot from Group D, with Daniil Medvedev, Kei Nishikori and Diego Schwartzman as the top players who would compete against each other.
