The 2021 Stockholm Open is the final ATP event of the season not named the ATP Finals as despite being the penultimate it will feature a very strong field.
A lot of players are keen on finishing their 2021 season in high spirits which is why the 2021 Stockholm Open has a very strong field. Plyers tend to avoid playing these events so late in the year preferring to start the vacation early however some big names are playing in the Swedish capital trying to win another trophy before the season concludes.
The top seed is Jannik Sinner and the Italian will try to add another trophy to his name after failing to secure a spot at the ATP Finals in Turin. His draw is not an easy one as he might face Andy Murray in the 2nd round. Murray's curse with draws continues here and until the Brit is able to climb the rankings it won't get any easier.
The 2nd seed is Felix Auger-Aliassime and he might face Filip Krajinovic or Carballes Baena in the 2nd round. Denis Shapovalov is another player playing here and he will face a qualifier in the 2nd round which will give him a chance to start the event off in great fashion. A couple of other interesting 1st round matchups include native Ymer and Tiafoe.
Another interesting name is Leo Borg, the son of Bjorn Borg who received a wild card entry into the event as well. Check out the full draw below.
