The draw has been confirmed for the Six Kings Slam, a new exhibition tournament which is due to take place between October 16-19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with the draw confirmed on Saturday September 28.
Fans though will be teased with the thought of Djokovic and Nadal with both receiving byes through into the semi-finals. The remaining four contenders will play Quarter-Finals.
Those being Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev and Holger Rune. They will play on the first day of the event on October 16. Alcaraz will face Rune in his opener. The Spaniard has not faced the Dane since Wimbledon last year where he won the title. The victor seals a tie with Rafael Nadal so it could be an all Spanish semi-final with the king and perceived heir to the throne.
Sinner and Medvedev also will renew their rivalry and one that is often played out. Four of their 13 career meetings have been played in recent months with a potential fifth at the China Open also on the horizon. The winner faces 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic in the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will take place on October 17 with players getting a day of rest on October 18. This is to circumnavigate rules about playing multiple day exhibitions set out by the ATP. The winner will be crowned on October 19. A third and fourth placed match will also take place.
