Discovery Sports incl. Eurosport has secured a 10-year agreement to show the Laver Cup exclusively across Europe from 2021 to 2030 (excl. France 2021-2022, and is on a non-exclusive basis in Turkey 2021-2022).
The premise of the Laver Cup was a simple one but the formula yielded a very successful and popular tennis event that features some of the best tennis players in the world. The 2021 edition of the event will be held in Boston and the World team is hoping to win it for the first time after suffering 3 losses in the first 3 editions.
Eurosport will once again have exclusive broadcasting rights in Europe as the channel secured a new 10-year deal with the event through their parent company Discovery Sports. The exclusive rights don't include this year's rights in France and Turkey. For the rest of Europe, it will be only available through Eurosport and the deal will be in place until 2030.
