The legitimacy of the injury has become a talking point thanks to former World No. 9 Fabio Fognini who questioned it on social media.
The Italian earlier today took to Instagram to advise fans not to believe everything they read with regards to Nadal's injury. The Italian also highlighted the words "being injured" in his Instagram story. Fognini has since hit back saying that they should not believe what they hear in regards to the story.
