We are into Quarter-Final territory at the 2020 Australian Open and Tuesday sees two of the Big Three in action hoping to book semi-final spots.
Among them is Roger Federer who will take on Tennys Sandgren. It is a first time meeting and shows the American who reached this point only two years ago to not be a one-hit wonder.
He will have his toughest test to date though in Melbourne with Federer awaiting him and he has a maiden Grand Slam semi-final firmly in his sights.
It would be a 21st though for Federer who will capture a seventh crown in Melbourne with victory and he would then be tied with Novak Djokovic for most titles in this Grand Slam.
Despite that his path through has not been without it's potential banana skins with John Millman and Marton Fucsovics giving the Swiss ace food for thought with the former in particular coming very close to knocking him out.
Like many big players though, he always plays his best in the latter half of tournaments and he will hope that this is the case this time when he faces a tough opponent in Sandgren.
Battle of the Big Serves
From first time meetings to 10th meeting, Djokovic will face Milos Raonic in the second Quarter-Final taking into the match a 9-0 lead on Head 2 Head and a real spring in his step.
Djokovic has only dropped one set so far in the tournament and seems to be getting better and better and with his new weapon of his serve, he will hope to match the Canadian known for having that in his arsenal.
Raonic himself despite getting a bye through his first round has not had it easy by any means but has yet to drop a set in the tournament including in wins over Stefanos Tsitsipas and he will hope to take that form into a game which he will hope proves a catalyst.
