A decider has been confirmed at the Laver Cup with Roger Federer putting Team Europe only one point behind going into the last game.
Federer defeated John Isner in a 6-4, 7-6 victory meaning Team World currently sit at 11-10 up going into that final tie.
If Alexander Zverev defeats Milos Raonic in the next tie, it will finish 13-11 to the team including the likes of the aforementioned Federer and Rafael Nadal. If it goes the other way, 3 points would send Team World into a 14-10 lead.
The Swiss ace's emotion was for all to see after he hit the winning point knowing that he saved his team from impending defeat.
If Team World can do it in the next game, they will have won it for the first time; while Europe are looking to win it for a third time following victories in Prague 2017 and Chicago 2018. The former team put themselves into the position for the victory with Taylor Fritz defeating Dominic Thiem
earlier.
