Roger Federer was at
Wimbledon last week with local reports suggesting he discussed a possible future role at the event as well as special recognition.
Federer has been the most successful tennis player at Wimbledon of all time and the Swiss ace is apparently speculated to get a role at the event in the future. Federer will be part of the BBC coverage team for this year's edition, replacing Boris Becker. The former player might even get a bigger role at the event according to reports which placed him in London last week.
Daily Mail's Mike Dickinson said:
“Roger Federer was sighted at the All England Club last week, his second visit in recent months. Wimbledon is exploring some kind of recognition and role for him going forward, but its form has yet to be determined.”
It's unclear whether it will happen but it's not unthinkable.
