After John Isner leveled the score of the Laver Cup, Roger Federer gave the Team Europe lead again after winning over Nick Kyrgios 6-7, 7-5 and 10-7.

After the first match of the second day at the Laver Cup, the Team World was very confident and believed that Kyrgios could defeat Federer. Isner said after he won his match: “Maybe we’re turning the tables just a little bit. Team World is in this and we’re here to win, so let’s get it going!”
And from the beginning, it looked like an Australian could do it. He turned the first-set tie-break after losing 4-0 to secure the lead after the first set.
In the second set, it looked like the winner of the set will be again decided by a tie-break. But the opposite was a reality, Federer was able to take Kyrgios' serve in game 11, and a super tie-break decided about who will earn another 2 points.
Federer was doing better from the start. Although Kyrgios managed to adjust the score from 8-3 to 9-7 and gave his team hope, that he will turn the score as in the first set, Federer did not allow him to do so and scored 5th point for the Team Europe.
