Jack Sock has returned to the winners' circle during the latest ATP Challenger tournament in Little Rock, Arkansas defeating Emilio Gomez 7-5, 6-4 in the final.
It is a first Challenger title for Sock since 2013 who struggled since reaching the aforementioned career high and claiming three titles in a year including an ATP Masters 1000 title in Paris.
This included with injuries with various setbacks in the career of the American who now sits just inside the world's top 250.
Since playing the French Open last year where he lost to Dominic Thiem, he has been playing on the Challenger Tour with varying degrees of success but on home soil has sealed this title.
There will be no rest though for Sock who is entered into the Orlando Open II event who will face Mitchell Krueger, his recent doubles partner in the first round.
