Fritz denied medical time out by physio at Los Cabos, accused of faking injury

Taylor Fritz lost in straight sets at the Mifel Open in Los Cabos to Cameron Norrie and during the match, he got denied a medical time out from the physio.
Taylor Fritz played some great tennis in Los Cabos this week but he hit a wall against Cameron Norrie in the semifinal. The Brit was in control from the start of the match and won it 6-3 6-1 in the end.
However, a very odd moment happened at 6-3 4-1 when Taylor Fritz asked for the physio to come out for an elbow injury. The physio came out and refused to give Fritz the full 3-minute medical timeout saying:
"I just saw you serve, you don't look in pain. That's my call".
Fritz was in disbelief and could not believe what was happening as the physio once again reiterated his position, The match was resumed shortly afterward with Norrie quickly wrapping things up by winning the next two games.
