Taylor Fritz has battled injuries in the past year despite his superb rise including his torn meniscus that led to him miraculously returning weeks after major surgery to play Wimbledon.
He will have to seemingly do battle with injury as well as Rafael Nadal shortly at BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells with major concerns over an ankle injury.
An issue which came about in particular during his semi-final against Andrey Rublev, he cut short his warm-up earlier today after only a few minutes with the added spice of the Netflix cameras who are currently following him for the Drive to Survive type series also there to capture it.
But despite concerns that he wouldn't take to the court at all and Nadal would be handed the title, reports have claimed that he is on the golf cart with Rafael Nadal and is headed to the Stadium to play the Men's Final.
Can the American who will make his top 15 for the first time tomorrow break Nadal's streak albeit with an injury?
