The 2020 Generali Open will be the first ATP clay-court tournament after the ATP Tour suspension. Some of the best clay-court specialists came to Austria and we know the schedule of play for every day of the tournament.
Miomir Kecmanovic and Yannick Hanfmann are both one step away from winning their first ATP title. While the Serbian was the only player that was not a qualifier in the semifinals, Hanfmann is enjoying an interesting journey in Kitzbuhel.
He came through the qualifying and showed really solid performances to reach the final at the 2020 Generali Open. The triumph in Kitzbuhel would mean the first ATP title for both and also a big jump in the ATP Rankings and their career-high.
Kecmanovic defeated Nishikori, Thompson, Delbonis, and Huesler on his way to the final. On the other hand, Hanfmann played 6 opponents with 2 of them being in the qualifying. He defeated Gulbis, Monteiro, Bublik, Lajovic, Marterer, and Djere. The two didn't meet on the ATP Tour yet as this will be their first meeting.

3 out of 4 semifinalists are qualifiers at the 2020 Generali Open, the only player that didn't advance from the qualifying is Miomir Kecmanovic who will take on Marc Huesler in the second semifinal match.
In the first semifinal match, Yannick Hanfmann will meet Laslo Djere as the two will fight for the final spot. Both are in a very good form in Kitzbuhel and defeated some notable names.

Only the best eight players remained at the 2020 Generali Open in Kitzbuhel. Max Marterer and Yannick Hanfmann are two of them as they will kick-off the quarterfinal schedule with an all-German match.
Then, the second-seeded Diego Schwartzman will meet Laslo Djere as the Serbian is coming from qualifying and won already 4 matches in Kitzbuhel. However, Schwartzman defeated Djere already twice and will try to add the third victory in Austria.
Federico Delbonis will take on Miomir Kecmanovic in the third quarterfinal match. The Argentinian also played qualifying in Kitzbuhel but he is yet to lose a set as he's on a 8-set winning streak. On the other hand, Kecmanovic defeated Nishikori in the first round and is also in a very good form.
The last quarterfinal match will see experienced Feliciano Lopez take on world no. 303, Marc-Andrea Huesler. The Swiss player is playing the tournament of his life as he came through qualifying and defeated Emil Ruusuvuori and Fabio Fognini in the main draw.

Thursday at the Generali Open in Kitzbuhel will bring all 8 second-round matches. There will be a lot of first-round winners in the schedule, however, also the first four seeded that were awarded a bye will join the play in the second round.
The day will start with matches between Yannick Hanfmann and the third-seeded Dusan Lajovic and Hubert Hurkacz and Max Marterer. The fourth-seeded Nikoloz Basilashvili will play his first match against Federico Delbonis.
Another Argentinian, the second-seeded Diego Schwartzman will take on Sebastian Ofner in his second-round match. The first-seeded Fabio Fognini will meet Marc Huesler in his first match at the Generali Open.

The four main draw matches on Tuesday prepared fans for what they can expect on Wednesday. 8 matches from the main draw as Alexander Bublik will kick-off the day against Yannick Hanfmann and Emil Ruusuvuori will take on Marc Huesler.
Another youngster, Jannik Sinner will meet Philipp Kohlschreiber in the first round and home-crowd favorite, Dennis Novak will be playing against Max Marterer. We'll also see an all-Australian match as Jordan Thompson will meet John Millman.

Nishikori tested positive for Coronavirus during the US Open swing; which meant he shifted his focus following that to the clay court season; and he will begin his schedule third on Centre Court against Miomir Kecmanovic on Tuesday.
It is a Japanese double header as Yoshihito Nishioka who was unfortunate to lose to Andy Murray during the US Open faces Pella.
Hurkacz begins proceedings though against Joao Sousa; with the fifth seed aiming to bounce back after defeat to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina at Flushing Meadows.
The likes of Pierre-Hugues Herbert, Andreas Seppi, and Egor Gerasimov are also in action; as qualifying is completed.
