Tim Henman firmly believes Rafael Nadal can win Wimbledon if his foot permits him to play at the upcoming grand slam in 3 weeks' time. Rafael Nadal has won both grand slams his year triumphing in Australia at the start of the year and in Paris yesterday. Everyone was so impressed with what Nadal has been able to do but he revealed that he's been playing the event with foot injections that completely dulled any sensations from it.
It's a troubling thing for Nadal and he admitted he won't continue playing like that anymore opting for other treatments. He also hopes to play at Wimbledon and so does Tim Henman. The former British number one said on Eurosport:
"If Nadal is healthy, which is a big challenge now with his foot injury, he can win Wimbledon. So that's very exciting. In terms of who is going to end up with the most grand slams. A couple of years ago I would have said, Djokovic. Now with that little bit of distance, I think Nadal has got a great chance. "
Time will tell if Nadal can play but he admitted that he loves Wimbledon and it's not an event he wants to miss.
