Amelie Mauresmo gave a brief recap after her first stint as the
Roland Garros tournament director touching upon several things.
Speaking following the men's final for Eurosport, Amelie Mauresmo briefly talked about the event and how she and the team around her handled it:
"It was physically tough, not only for me but all the teams. Day and night sessions, the scheduling part is what probably took the most time for me throughout the tournament. A lot of focus on this, trying to make the right choices and keep the sports equity in the centre of it."
She also explained they will break everything down to see what was good and what needs to improve for next year:
"We're gonna put everything down on the table. What is good. What needs to improve. Can we keep only one match for the night session, would we go to two matches. The time of the start as well."
She also briefly touched upon Swiatek and her trophy:
"Iga, great champion. After all the pressure that she went through. The way she was able to control that to the end of the tournament. It was quite impressive"
