Carlos Alcaraz looks on course for defeat in his hotly anticipated clash with Novak Djokovic at the 2025 Australian Open and appears to be faking an injury as he went into the fourth set in Melbourne.

Djokovic opened up the tie seemingly on course for even retirement but in typical Novak fashion, he came back albeit he is still struggling physically to take a two set lead over the third seed.

Alcaraz sat at the change of ends was befuddled as to what was going on. He has been serving poorly, missing a lot and unable to hit through Djokovic despite the 24-time Grand Slam champion struggling to move.

On ESPN's coverage, he looked to be limping but the commentators called him out on it that he was supposedly pretending to be Djokovic. “He’s kind of limping around. Then he gets up & does it again. Limping around & sitting down. He’s obviously fine. Just acting like he’s got an injury. He’s being Novak.”
