While Novak Djokovic was full of praise for Carlos Alcaraz in the post match speech on court at Wimbledon, this continued into the press conference when he paid him the ultimate compliment.

Many compare Alcaraz to Nadal due to him being Spanish and being good on clay mainly but Djokovic believes that he has elements of every member of the big three in his arsenal in himself, Nadal and Roger Federer.

He also called him a complete player though and on his own in terms of who he has faced in his career.

Djokovic in an absolute thriller of a final could not stop Alcaraz and thus ended a 10-year streak of wins on Centre Court for the record breaking Grand Slam champion.

This compared to the other Big Three members who he said have strengths and weaknesses.

"I think people have been talking in the past 12 months or so about his game consisting of certain elements from Roger, Rafa, and myself," said Djokovic. "I would agree with that. I think he's got basically best of all three worlds.

"He's got this mental resilience and really maturity for someone who is 20 years old. It's quite impressive. He's got this Spanish bull mentality of competitiveness and fighting spirit and incredible defense that we've seen with Rafa over the years.

"And I think he's got some nice sliding backhands that he's got some similarities with my backhands. Yeah, two-handed backhands, defense, being able to adapt. I think that has been my personal strength for many years. He has it, too.

"I haven't played a player like him ever, to be honest. Roger and Rafa have their own obviously strengths and weaknesses. Carlos is very complete player. Amazing adapting capabilities that I think are a key for longevity and for successful career on all surfaces."

What this joker is trying to make us understand ( in his usual subtle way )is that he reckons himself to be the greatest player ever and for someone to beat him, that player must be nearly as good as 'perfect.' Well, he got beaten by an inexperienced grass-court player in Carlos Alcarez. In order to do that, it must have been a super allround, perfect player because that's what's needed to beat him, the ultumate joker. Alcarez doesn't have the weaknesses of a Federer or a Nadal Djokovic said ( must always have a dig at them due to their popularity) and these comments is actually all about himself because Akcarez will be the first one to say that he's far from what the joker is saying and that he still has a lot to learn. But hey, when it comes to Djokovic, there's always an agenda and he must always be the one on top of that.

Yeah. Always been someone who thinks he is sly enough to praise himself and no one will know it. When people attempt to place themselves in such high acclaim their Ego eventually outs them; in spite of their "subtlety". He is nowhere near as clever as he believes himself to be. And his attempts at sarcasm are lame as well. Fun to watch, no fun to listen to him. And he lost integrity by knowingly exposing kids and party-goers to Covid after he tested positive.
