"I am looking forward to the challenge" says Casper Ruud ahead of Laver Cup debut

Casper Ruud is enjoying a breakout season in which he won multiple ATP titles as well as making a significant jump on the rankings. Just recently he broke into the top 10 for the first time in his career proving that he belongs to the top of tennis. On that he said:

“I’m not the guy with the biggest game or the flashy shots. But, you know, just being steady, playing every point like it really matters I think has been working out well… to play every point as your life depends on it.”

Ruud has established himself as one of th premier performers on clay where he plays his best tennis. His hard court game is improving day by day but overall it's solid as he proved with a quarterfinal run at the Toronto Masters earlier this year. On the chance to play in the Laver Cup he said:

“I am looking forward to the challenge and will do all I can to contribute the best I can and bring home the win for us this year."
