Nick Kyrgios proved this year that he's one of the best tennis players in the world when he's truly locked in but he still won't play a full schedule.

The Australian has been known to pick and choose the event where he'll play always talking about how he doesn't want to play a full schedule. Part of it is him being from Australia and hating the fact that he's away from home and family as much but part of it is that he simply doesn't want to.

He retirated that in a recent Instagram story writing:

"I don't have to play an entire schedule. I'm chill at 12 events."

That's a fairly low number of events but it's not unusual on the tennis tour. Older players like Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have a similar schedule opting to play only the bigger events but as Kyrgios said, he simply isn't interested in doing that.

He will play in Tokyo this next week.
