Carlos Alcaraz again took down a stern test in Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina to reach the semi-finals of
Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell.
He sealed it 7-6, 6-4 but lost the lead in both sets admitting post match that he took some time to reflect and shift his mindset after the opening set. Next up is Dan Evans now as he looks to regain the title.
"It was really tough for me," Alcaraz assessed.
"I started playing pretty well, serving for the first set. I was not able to win [that game]... I was going really fast, a lot of things on my mind.
"[After the first set] I was talking to myself, positive things, trying to play long rallies, trying to [be there] through the points, trying to feel more comfortable with myself."
