"I will respect this decision, I play where I can play": Medvedev on Wimbledon ban amid reports of reversing of decision

Reports about a possible Wimbledon ban reversal are coming from the UK and Medvedev reacted to the rumours by saying that he'll respect any decision made.

Medvedev hasn't complained too much last year when Wimbledon announced their ban simply saying that he was disappointed about it. He likes to play on grass and loves to play at Wimbledon so he further added that he hopes to return in the future. It seems like he'll be there this year as rumours from the UK state that the decision will be reversed.

He commented on the rumours at Indian Wells:

"I'm not going to make this decision for them or even help them make this decision. They have to make it by themselves for their different reasons like they did last year. And I always said I will respect this decision. I play where I can play... tennis is my job so I would be really happy to play Wimbledon. I absolutely love that tournament, but if it's not meant to be, I'm going to wait for the opportunity to be back there."
