Despite losing in the first round of the Western & Southern Open, Andrey Rublev is looking forward to the 2020 US Open.

Andrey Rublev had a rocket start to the 2020 season when he has won 15 out of 18 matches he played and won 2 titles in Doha and Adelaide. During the ATP Tour suspension, he also played some exhibition tournaments and won the Thiem's 7. After coming back to the ATP Tour, he lost his first match against Dan Evans and hopes to improve at the US Open.
"I am content with my physical shape," Rublev said in an interview with TASS. "But obviously, due to the very long break I am not as confident as I used to be as it is difficult to find my game rhythm."
"But this is normal as I need to get through it; to win one, two, three matches in order to start feeling the rhythm and the game," he continued.
"On the whole, I miss playing tennis very much and I am eager to hit the courts as soon as possible. So, let it be, no matter what result I achieve at the upcoming tournament," Rublev added.
