Nick Kyrgios, the two-time reigning and defending champion at the
DC Open in Washington unsurprisingly won't play between July 31 - August 6.
Kyrgios joins Daniil Medvedev on the injury list with his knee surgery giving him issues as of late.
As well as reportedly his wrist which took him out of Wimbledon.
The signs were there though with Kyrgios withdrawing from UTS in Los Angeles last week. He instead coached Frances Tiafoe.
But seemed to be in no position to play otherwise he likely would've done in the short sharp format.
It means that he will be a big doubt for the US Open with only Cincinnati and Toronto being key warm-ups. Barring if he plays Winston-Salem following those two.
