Kei Nishikori finally gets to celebrate wedding two years on

Kei Nishikori finally staged a proper wedding to his partner and it comes two years after they officially tied the knot during the pandemic.

Nishikori and his partner wed back in 2020 but it was during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. There was no celebration or even anything resembling a proper wedding but he stagged it now. He shared two photos from the occasion on social media with the caption:

“On 24th December, I celebrated my wife, dance, wedding and reception. I couldn’t hold it all the time due to Corona, but many many happy returns of the day. It’s yet another beginning for us. Now to return to the world’s top stage again, I’ll do my best.”
