Filip Krajinovic and Nikola Milojevic were dominant in their last round-robin matches as they keep their hopes for the final at Adria Tour alive.
Sunday at the
Adria Tour started with two all-Serbian matches. First, it was Nikola Milojevic facing
Dusan Lajovic. And in the second match, Filip Krajinovic took on Viktor Troicki. While Lajovic and Troicki lost both matches they played at the tournament, Milojevic and Krajinovic still had chances for the final before the matches.
Milojevic led already 2-0 40-0 against Lajovic, however, he failed to win a set so quickly and so tie-break had to decide it. There, it was a one-man show as Milojevic won it 7-0. After that, Lajovic has decided to pull out of the match and so world no. 145 counted the 2nd victory at the tournament.
In the 2nd match, Krajinovic needed a big win against Troicki to be able to top the group. The young Serbian didn't allow Troicki to do much with the match and triumphed 4-0, 4-3(5). Krajinovic will now need to wait for the result of the match between Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev to know his final standing in the group.
