Following his last minute withdrawal from his opening round match against
Andy Murray at the
Winston-Salem Open on Sunday,
Nick Kyrgios has been under fire with people criticizing his professionalism and love for the game.
However, the Australian reached out to his fans via Instagram, telling them he would see them at the upcoming
US Open and the
Laver Cup.
Furthermore, the World No.85 assured his fans he would do his best to "put on a show" and make all of them happy, ending his statement by claiming he was at peace.
The US Open and Laver Cup are both held in the United States, with the US Open kicking off on August 30 in New York whereas the Laver Cup will be held in Boston from September 24-26.
