Kyrgios, Brooksby roll on, as Tsitsipas survives Sock scare in Indian Wells

Nick Kyrgios and Jenson Brooksby had no issues while Stefanos Tsitsipas had plenty in their round 2 Indian Wells matches.

Ultimately all three were able to secure appearances in the next round however it went differently for either. Nick Kyrgios won back-to-back singles matches for the first time since Wimbledon last year and he looked quite motivated during the match and after it. Delbonis is not a good player on hard courts but still, Kyrgios showed a level of enthusiasm not seen in a very long time.

He won 6-2 6-2 in a little over an hour. Equally impressive was the display of California's own Jenson Brooksby. The Sacramento native faced the ever-solid Karen Khachanov and absolutely destroyed him. The first set finished in a bagel with the 2nd set being far more competitive but still with Brooksby in control. The American is playing superbly at the moment.

Stefanos Tsitsipas will also be in the next round however his victory against Jack Sock was quite dramatic. The Greek has not been playing too well this year with many disappointing losses and this almost was another one. The first set was a very close one with Stefanos winning 7-5 in the tiebreak. Sock would counter in the 2nd taking it with 6-3.

The final one finished in another tiebreak however this time around Sock had a 5-3 lead. Somehow Tsitsipas won four points in a row to avoid complete disaster and move on.
