Kyrgios rips into Shelton amid double bounce controversy: "More surprised with the honesty when they do something so blatant"

Ben Shelton hasn't made many headlines for controversy during the start of his career but did opening his grass court campaign.

The American won a crucial point during the Queen's Club Championships in a solid display over J.J Wolf but a very obvious double hit similar to Holger Rune was ruled a one motion.

The umpire explained: "It is my judgement call and it went like that (in one motion)."

But many including Alexander Bublik, Rohan Bopanna and J.J Wolf himself took to social media to show their displeasure at the ruling and Kyrgios also added his thoughts.

"I’m more surprised with the honesty of these players when they do something so blatant hahahaha like cmon bruh, it was 6 swings and some of the double bounces hahaha my favourite one is the stitch one when he hits," said Kyrgios on social media.
