Carlos Alcaraz won Indian Wells showing his best tennis since he won Wimbledon last year. They were not easy months for Carlitos in the second part of 2023 and the beginning of 2024. However, when he seemed to have found the sensations he injured his arm because of the change of balls between tournaments (How many injuries we are living in tennis today because of the non-unification of the balls!) and has not been able to start the European clay court tour;
So, after not being able to play in Monte Carlo or Barcelona, his objective now is to play the Madrid Open. According to Relay's colleagues, the Spaniard will be tested in the Caja Mágica from this Saturday with training sessions that will determine whether or not he can play the Madrid Masters 1000. The idea, of course, is to try to arrive well at Roland Garros, so in no case will force knowing that behind still has Rome to get into a rhythm before Paris;
