Gael Monfils defeated Filip Krajinovic in the semifinal at the 2020 ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament to reach the second final in a row in Rotterdam.

At the beginning of the 2020 season, Gael Monfils is one of the players who are playing in a top form. He started his great run already in Montpellier where he managed to win the title. At the ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam, the Frenchman continues in a great form.
First, he defeated Sousa, Simon, and Evans and now, Monfils faced Filip Krajinovic in the semifinal. The Frenchman showed a great service once again hitting 14 aces during the match. Both players held their service games in the first set. It was until the 10th games when Monfils managed to break his opponent's service to win the first set 6-4.
In the second set, both players got one break and Gael was close to getting the second. However, he did not convert any of his 4 match points in the 10th game and so the second set reached the tie-break. The Serbian was already 5-4 up, however, Monfils managed to win the tie-break 7-5 to make his second final in a row in Rotterdam. There, he will be facing Felix Auger-Aliassime who was successful earlier today.
