Andy Murray advanced into 2nd quarterfinals this season after defeating 8th seeded Pablo Cuevas at the European Open in Antwerp.
The day in Antwerp started with a comfortable win by Francis Tiafoe who defeated 7th seeded Jan-Lennard Struff in an hour and 20 minutes.
He was followed by Marius Copil who defeated 3rd seeded Diego Schwartzman in almost 3 hour battle 6-4, 5-7 and 9-7 in the tie-break of the third set.
Jannik Sinner coped with 1st seeded Gael Monfils in an hour after a comfortable result 6-3 and 6-2.
The losing streak of seeded players was supported by the win of Andy Murray over 8th seeded Pablo Cuevas. Murray kept a high-level of his serve scoring 12 aces and advanced into the 2nd quarterfinal match after losing to Fognini already in the 2nd round in Shanghai.
