Murray & Skupski become champions at the Battle of the Brits

Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski triumphed at the Battle of the Brits as they defeated Dan Evans & Lloyd Glasspool in the final.

The things weren't ideal for Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski after the first match in the group stage. They needed to defeat Dan Evans & Lloyd Glasspool in order to reach semifinals of the Battle of the Brits. They succeeded in doing so as they faced the same duo in the final after successful semifinal match.
After losing during the group stage, Evans & Glasspool wanted to improve their performance in the final. And they did their best to do so. They had a rocket start to the match when they managed to win the first set 6-0 in less than 25 minutes.
In the second set, Murray & Skupski showed their great experience. The duo fought back and won the second set 6-2 to force the third decisive set.
Also in the final of the competition, the third set is played as a super tie-break. During the super tie-break, we saw a very rare situation in doubles. Since Murray & Skupski led 3-2, none of the teams held their service until 9-6 for Murray & Skupski. Then, they converted the matchpoint on their service to win the Battle of the Brits final 0-6, 6-2, 10-6.
