Kyle Edmund continued to play stellar tennis as he defeated Cameron Norrie at the Battle of the Brits to advance to the final.

Kyle Edmund has been enjoying a stellar showing in London so far. Norrie had been having a good week as well which is why he played in today's semifinal. The match started out of slowly with both players winning their own serve without any issues. Edmund did play a bit better which is why he had chances to break his opponent but failed to do so early on. As the set progressed Norrie became more and more comfortable ultimately winning the set 7-6.
The 2nd set started off slowly. The 4th game raised the intensity of the play with both players giving their all. Norrie managed to work himself to several breakpoints but Edmund fended off all of them. A couple of games later Edmund managed to raise his level even further and break Norrie to take a 5-3 lead. He would go on to win it 6-4.
We entered the 3rd and final set which has a different format at this event. It's similar to the doubles final set where the victor is the 1st one to get to 10 points. In it, players mostly traded points back and forth with neither claiming significant advantage. In the end, it was Edmund who emerged victorious in the end securing the match with a 10-8 3rd set victory.
