Although tennis star Nick Kyrgios spent most of the year on the sidelines due to injury, the Aussie ace made good use of his free time as he seems to have mended fences with Canadian musician, Drake.
Kyrgios has been dealing with knee and wrist injuries, which saw him miss Wimbledon and the US Open. However, the former World No.13 revealed he received a DM on social media from Drake, and seemed to indicate the end of their 10-year beef.

Drake offers olive branch, Kyrgios accepts

Their grudge stemmed back to the 2014 Wimbledon Championships, when Kyrgios defeated Czech Jiri Vesely in his third round match.
"Today was a bit of rap, actually," said a 19-year old Kyrgios. "I came out really flat, so hopefully I won’t listen to that again. It was actually Drake. Didn’t do the job for me.”
However, Kyrgios' words must have gotten to Drake, who responded, despite not getting the facts right.
“I also want to meet this guy that says that he lost because he listened to my music,” Drake said at the time. “I also want to meet that guy and look him in the eye and see exactly who he is as a man and size him up and then chop him right down. Nick whatever-his-name-is — because he didn’t win, so that’s how he’s going to be remembered: ‘Nick whatever-his-name-is’.”
Kyrgios quickly backtracked, tweeting: “Let’s be clear. I like @Drake – love his music, just said I was a little flat, ended up winning that match. No blame game here.”
Nonetheless, there appeared to be bad blood between the two, until Kyrgios reveals Drake had recently slid into his DM's to make amends and end their beef.
“When you said I was trash it hurt me cause you really my fav player," wrote Drake.
Kyrgios replied: “Haha I didn’t say you are trash. I love your music my bro... hope you are good.”
Drake responded: “We will link up soon” and “Speedy recovery my guy”.
Kyrgios posted the exchange on his Instagram Stories with the caption “Sometimes I think my life isn’t real”.
