Nadal and Alcaraz excited for exhibition showdown in Las Vegas: "One of the most iconic and entertaining cities in the world"

Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz will play each other in an exhibition match in Las Vegas before the Indian Wells in March.

MGM Rewards are organizing the exhibition match and it will come about a year after Alcaraz and Nadal played against each other in Indian Wells. This match will be played leading up to the 2023 edition of Indian Wells.

It will be played in Las Vegas with a charity fundraising event accompanying it as well. Nadal released a statement saying:

“I’m very excited for my first visit to Las Vegas, one of the most iconic and entertaining cities in the world. I’ll be playing with my fellow countryman Carlos Alcaraz who’s had an amazing year. It should be a great night of tennis at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.”

Alcaraz said:

“I’m honored and so happy to be sharing the court with Rafa in Las Vegas. He’s an all-time great, of course, and his records and achievements speak for themselves. Rafa also is one of the nicest guys on Tour and I look forward to our match on March 5."
