The organizers of the Mubadala tournament in Abu Dhabi, which takes place between December 19-21, have done their best to get some top names to their 12th event. Beside Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal will be present - and coincidentally - these two players represent eight titles of the eleven contested tournaments held so far.
Nadal is very happy to start his 2020 campaign in Abu Dhabi: "I have always had a great time and enjoyed every minute at the Mubadala event," Nadal said. "It is a great way to start the season and getting ready this year for the ATP Cup."
" In previous years, it was my entrance to the new season, continuing to other events as well and I always felt this tournament was getting better every year; I am sure this year will be no exception to that." he continued.
Apart from these two top seeds Stefanos Tsitsipas and Gael Monfils have also promised to be there. Unfortunately, Daniil Medvedev has to forfait his invitation due to injury, we hope he'll recover soon. Hyeon Chung is the fifth confirmed player in the line-up, he'll have to wait who'll replace Medvedev to know his Quarter final opponent.
Novak Djokovic is the defending champion, the tournament starts tomorrow.
