Tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou shared a video discussing what he sees for Federer and Nadal in the future noting the differences in their future.
Rafael Nadal has played some amazing matches so far this year winning two grand slam titles among other things. He reached the Wimbledon semifinal as well but an abdominal tear derailed his quest for a 3rd grand slam trophy of the season. For Patrick Mouratologu, it's quite clear he's playing the best tennis of his career this year.
"Rafael Nadal is playing some of the best tennis of his life, recently beating Novak in the quarters of the French Open, but he still struggles a lot with his injuries."
It's a bold claim but it's hard to argue against it. Beating Medvedev the way he did in Australia with 10 years more on his back was nothing short of impressive. Turning his attention to Federer, Mouratoglou admitted it will be incredible to see him back on the court but he doesn't a major for him:
"Roger turns 41 soon and is planning to return to competition at the Laver Cup and the Swiss Indoors in Basel. It will be incredible to see him back on court but to see him win another Major is highly unlikely."
