Benoit Paire announced a new coach at the turn of the year after aiming to be more professional following accusations of tanking matches and becoming better known for his outbursts on court.
But the former World No.18 has returned to the winners' circle with his seventh ATP Challenger in Puerto Vallerta over the past week.
He defeated Yuta Shimizu 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 to cap off a perfect week in Mexico. As he looks to revive his career, he will next head to Phoenix to play qualifying in the Challenger featuring Gael Monfils, Matteo Berrettini and Diego Schwartzman.
