"I have one slam": Badosa cheekily responds to notion of Indian Wells being 'fifth slam'

Paula Badosa has no grand slam wins but the Spaniard cheekily responded to a social media post by claiming that she has one slam due to Indian Wells being considered the 5th slam.

Badosa's biggest trophy of her career came at the Indian Wells Masters when she defeated Victoria Azarenka in the final. It was a very good match between the players and it was the highlight of Badosa's breakout season which finished at the WTA Finals where she played in the final but lost to Muguruza.

The Spaniard responded to a post by Bastian Fachan on social media who wrote that he was on board with Indian Wells becoming the 5th grand slam if that meant Federer would get 5 more to his tally. Badosa used that opportunity to cheekily point out that she has one slam as well if it counted as one.
