Carlos Alcaraz recently became the number one player in the world after winning his maiden grand slam at the US Open.
The Spaniard is quite a polarizing player capable of both attacking and defending during a rally. He moves well around the court, is really quick and handles pressure as well as you can for such a young age. He's just a very complete player with a huge potential combining good things from Federer, Nadal and Djokovic.
That is according to noted coach
Patrick Mouratoglou who told Tennis Majors:
“He combines the qualities of the three greatest players of all
time. I think the one his game is closest to is
Federer. Like him, he’s super aggressive and super creative, always
trying to do something with the ball. The speed with which he is able to go from the back to the inside of the court, that’s pure Roger."
Mouratoglou added:
“At the same time, he has the counter-attacking qualities of
Djokovic, and he can play long rallies with a lot of spin, like Nadal. To top it off, he serves very well for his size, and he returns very well.”
