A week of elite tennis ended in London and the participants of the Battle of the Brits event recapped their experience.

The Battle of the Brits events was set up to give the British player's a chance to compete at a level they haven't for a long time. It should serve them well as the season resumption is getting ever closer. It was a successful week for the players who got the needed reps without anyone suffering a major injury. The exception is Andy Murray who experienced some discomfort but it's nothing serious. Dan Evans became the champion in singles when he defeated Kyle Edmund in the final of the competition.
Let's look at some players' reactions to the event. Singles champion Dan Evans said:
"All the players have loved it. It's been a long week and a great week to finish and hopefully, we can do it all again."
The singles runner-up Kyle Edmund said:
"It was pretty much like a tour event, these conditions. It turned out really well and all the players put in a pretty good shift this week, and everyone else off the court put in a bigger one. Jamie made it as safe as possible, the players were able to relax and go about their business without feeling like they were too restricted."
The tournament director and man responsible for the event Jamie Murray said:
"I think the event was a big success. The players had a great time playing. Fun to see a lot of familiar faces at the event after so long off the tour. If we get the chance to do it again, I think we'll try to."
