The new ATP Rankings show plenty of chance and Carlos Alcaraz trails Novak Djokovic only by a little with moves up by Andy Murray and Jan-Lennard Struff as well.
Novak Djokovic didn't play at the Madrid Open and he lost his points from his run last year allowing Carlos Alcaraz to come within 5 points of the Serbian on the new ATP Rankings. Alcaraz successfully defended his Madrid Open trophy so he didn't win nor lose any spots on the rankings but there were other players that did move up.
Jan-Lennard Struff is the biggest mover of the week following his incredible run to the Madrid Open final. He jumped 40 spots overall to number 28 in the rankings. He was a lucky loser who lost in the qualifiers but then got into the main draw anyway. Andy Murray is also back in the top 50 following his run at the Aix Challenger beating Tommy Paul in the final.
