Rafael Nadal and Roberto Bautista Agut will use this week to train at Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor, shaping their game ahead of the Melbourne trip.

Nadal and Bautista Agut will play for Spain at the ATP Cup, trying to win the title they missed a year ago following a 2-1 against Serbia. Nadal and Bautista Agut both finished the previous season in the top-15, with the more experienced Spaniard securing the year-end top-2 honor for the 12th time.

Rafa claimed two ATP titles in 2020, conquering Acapulco and Roland Garros. In Paris, Nadal earned the 20th Major title to join Roger Federer at the top of the GOAT race, hoping to pass the Swiss in the season ahead of us. Bautista Agut scored 20 wins in the previous year, failing to advance into the final and embracing a couple of good tournaments.

The Spaniard won all six matches at the ATP Cup and missed a massive chance of reaching the Masters 1000 final in Cincinnati. Roberto took five straight games in the deciding set against world no. 1 Novak Djokovic, serving for the win at 6-5 but losing ground and suffering a tight loss.

The ATP Cup starts on February 1, and two Spaniards should be among the players to watch.
