Rafael Nadal will have a chance to achieve several milestones at the National Bank Open in Toronto.
One of those milestones is the 400 match-win mark at the Masters 1000 level. No one has ever done it before and Nadal could become the first player to win 400 matches on that level of the Tour. So far in his career, Nadal has notched 398 wins at the Masters 100 level and he only needs two more to reach that 400 mark.
Nadal is well ahead of 2nd placed
Roger Federer who has 381 wins and
Novak Djokovic who has 370 wins. The overall record for Nadal is 398-83 and he will look to bolster it with a strong showing in Toronto. Nadal played a warm-up event in Washington where he won his opening match before losing to Harris.
It should be a doable achievement for Nadal who has a 1st round BYE as a seed but could face Harris once again in R2. If he solves the Harris enigma he will face either Dimitrov or Kyrgios which could prove an excellent matchup. Either way, it's doable but it will be tough for Nadal.
