Novak Djokovic announced on his official Twitter page that he will not play at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati.
After pulling out of the National Bank Open in Toronto, Novak Djokovic won't play in Cincinnati as well. The Serbian announced the news on his official Twitter page. The Serbian last played at the Olympics where he failed to win a single medal. Djokovic announced after the Olympics that he suffered from multiple injuries which caused him to go medalless.
"Dear Nole Fam, I wanted to share with you that I am taking a bit longer to recover after a physically taxing journey from the Australian Open up to Tokyo. Sadly this means I won't be ready to compete in Cincinnati this year so I'll be turning my focus to the
US Open and spending more time with my family. Can't wait to see in New York soon."
